Description
11-Mercaptoundecanamide can be used to build well-ordered hydrophilic
surfaces that resist fouling. Researchers at the Rensselaer
Polytechnich Institute have used this compound to prepare a surface
onto which proteins could adsorb without denaturing and losing their
activity (Biophys. J. 2005, 88(2), 1322).
